Kunzer, December 28 (KNO) : Clashes erupted between youth and forces in Kunzer area of Tangmarg after the family of a missing youth staged protest in the area.
A police officer told KNO that the family of a missing youth blocked the road this morning as mark of protest.
The youth is missing since Thursday morning, he said, adding that family has filed a missing report in this regard on Thursday evening. "Investigation has been started in this regard and the 19-year-old youth identified as Shakir Ahmad will be traced out, " he added.
However, the officer said that the protesters later resorted to heavy stone-pelting in the area. Witnesses said that several tear gas canisters were disbursed by the police in retaliation to stones.(KNO)
